About The Author
KSL Bird, aka Karen Sue Long, is a storyteller, actor, and voice-over artist. Her dad (her Hero) affectionately called her KSL Bird. She wrote these books as a surprise for him. And Boom! Her quirky/heartfelt pen name was born in his honor. KSL loves creating magic through words, laughter, kindness, dancing, and artistic expression. With a passion for all things creative, she’s created magical stories for her nieces and nephews since they were tiny. KSL believes making the world a kinder place can happen–one story at a time–one act of kindness at a time. She holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Kentucky. Go Big Blue. Her dad/Hero inspired KSL Bird to always do the right thing and to perpetually be kind. She misses him to the moon and back. KSL loves animals. Her favorite, a silly little rescue Chihuahua mix, Chili Dog, was originally a surprise birthday gift for her Daddio.
